What is Groobil?
Groobil is a free app to split bills and share expenses with friends, roommates, or travel groups. You create a group or trip, add expenses (who paid, how much, how to split), and Groobil calculates who owes what. Features include AI receipt scanning, multi-currency support, share links so others can join without signing up, and real-time balance tracking. Use it for restaurant bills, travel costs, rent, utilities, or any shared costs.
Is Groobil free? What are the fees?
Groobil is free to use for splitting bills and sharing expenses. Core features—unlimited groups, expenses, members, AI receipt scanning, multi-currency, and settlements—are free. We offer an optional Pro subscription (ad-free experience and extra perks); it is not required to split bills or use the app. There are no hidden fees for the free plan.
What features does Groobil offer?
Groobil includes: (1) Split bills and share expenses – add expenses and split equally or by custom amounts; (2) AI receipt scanning – take a photo of a receipt and we extract items and totals; (3) Multi-currency support – use different currencies and see live exchange rates; (4) Share links and invites – invite people by link or email, they can join without creating an account; (5) Leave and rejoin – leave a group when done, rejoin anytime; (6) Smart settlements – see who owes whom and minimize the number of payments; (7) Real-time sync – everyone sees the same balances. Optional Pro adds ad-free experience and more.
What offers or plans are available?

Where can I see pricing?
Visit our Pricing page for current plans: free forever for bill splitting and expense sharing, and optional Pro for ad-free and extras. Prices are shown in your local currency when you are signed in. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing for Pro; yearly is discounted.
What is your refund policy?
We want you to be satisfied. If you are not happy with a Pro purchase or subscription, you may request a refund under the terms described in our Refund Policy.
